Just remember, there's a reason those files are hidden, so don't go changing stuff willy nilly. Use the finder to navigate to the Users/XXXX folder then press: Command + Shift + Period That should instantly show the hidden files.

If you want to do it old school, open the terminal app and use the following command to show invisible files: defaults write AppleShowAllFiles YES After you drag/drop your videos into the folder press Command + Shift + Period to hide the files again. That should instantly show the hidden files.
